Elevate Your Web Application Security with Qualys WAS Reports Integration
We’re excited to expand our integration capabilities by adding support for Qualys WAS (Web Application Scanning) reports. This new feature complements our existing integration with Qualys VM (Vulnerability Management) reports, providing you with a more comprehensive approach to managing web application scans and vulnerabilities.
Benefits for You:
1. Comprehensive WAS Report Support:
Seamlessly import Qualys WAS reports into our platform, consolidating web application vulnerability data for a unified security management experience.
2. Streamlined Integration Process:
The integration process for WAS reports mirrors that of VM reports, ensuring a familiar and intuitive user experience. Enjoy a smooth transition and easy setup with minimal learning curve. Just set the scan identifier as your report name, and watch those auto imports roll in!
3. Enhanced Automation Capabilities:
Leverage Auto DR (Dynamic Remediation) for web application vulnerabilities. This feature streamlines the remediation process, enabling quicker and more efficient vulnerability management.
User Story:
Efficient Web Application Vulnerability Management:
As a user, you can now import multiple web application scans in a single entry, allowing effective use of Auto DR. This capability enhances your ability to manage and remediate web application vulnerabilities efficiently.
How to Use:
- Access the Qualys WAS reports integration through the same modal used for VM reports.
- Follow the straightforward import process, which mirrors the existing method for VM reports.
- Refer to the platform’s help section or the integration interface for detailed steps and guidelines.
Advancing Web Application Security Management:
With the support for Qualys WAS reports, our platform now offers a broader spectrum of security vulnerability management, particularly for web applications. This integration not only extends our cybersecurity tools but also strengthens your ability to address and remediate web-based threats efficiently.
Take advantage of this new feature to enhance your web application security management today!
Enhance Control with Delta Threshold Setting for Auto DR
We are excited to introduce a new feature in response to user feedback: Delta Threshold Settings for Auto DR without human intervention. This enhancement gives you greater control over automated dynamic remediation actions, ensuring accuracy and preventing errors caused by problematic scan imports.
Benefits for You:
1. Configurable Change Threshold:
Set a specific Delta Tolerance Level for detected changes within the Auto DR without human intervention calculation. If changes exceed your predefined percentage (from 10% to 90%), the scan will require human intervention, ensuring accuracy.
2. Safeguard Against Erroneous Auto DR without human intervention:
This setting acts as a safeguard, ensuring significant changes detected in a scan are verified by a human before any remediation is applied, preventing incorrect or premature actions.
3. Notification System:
When the threshold is triggered, the system sends both email and in-platform notifications to all project users, alerting them that the scan requires human review.
User Story:
- Enhanced Auto DR Control:
As a user relying on Auto DR without human intervention for efficient vulnerability management, you can set a threshold for changes detected during the Auto DR calculation. For example, if changes exceed 50% of the total issues, the process requires human review before publishing, preventing potential errors in auto remediation.
How to Use:
Navigate to the project-based auto importer settings.
- Set the desired threshold for Auto DR without human intervention.
- If this threshold is exceeded during a scan, the scan will be placed in a “DR with human intervention” draft status.
- You will receive notifications and can review the scan to decide the appropriate course of action.
Ensuring Reliable and Accurate Auto DR Processes:
The introduction of this threshold setting provides greater confidence in the Auto DR process, ensuring only verified changes are automatically remediated. This feature enhances the platform’s reliability, mitigating risks associated with automated processes and reinforcing the importance of accuracy in dynamic remediation.
Experience enhanced control and reliability with our new Delta Threshold Settings for Auto DR today!
As we roll out these features, our goal remains clear: to empower our clients and our partners with tools and insights that not only protect but also enhance your operational capabilities.
Stay tuned for detailed posts coming in the following weeks of more of the new features, helping you to fully leverage their potential in your cybersecurity strategy.
